Priority application date for the 2008/2009 FAFSA. Your FAFSA must be received by the Office of Federal Student Aid by this date in order for you to be considered for all available funds. We will continue to accept applications after March 2 and distribute remaining funds throughout the academic year.

08/09 forms available for downloading.
Summer Aid and Summer Work Study applications available for Summer 2008.
E-mail notifications to students to access their Student Centers for 08/09 estimated financial aid awards.

Last day to file appeal for 07/08 academic year.
Last day to submit Spring 2008 loan and computer budget adjustment requests.
May 2, 2008
Last day to submit alternative loan requests for Spring 2008.
May 22, 2008
Last day to receive short-term loan (repayment due in 90 days) for Spring 2008. Application due by 5 p.m., May 21, 2008.
June 1, 2008
Priority deadline for requested financial aid documents to assure first fall disbursement.

Electronic Funds Transfer   Last day to submit authorization to Student Financial Services to have EFT effective for August 21 financial aid disbursement.

Registration Fee Payment Deadline  Students who fail to pay fees or do not have sufficient financial aid to pay fees will be assessed a late fee, will not be able to add classes during registration add/drop period, and may have classes dropped for non-payments.
August 21, 2008
Financial Aid Refunds   First financial aid refunds disbursed by electronic funds transfer or mailed to students who have met all processing requirements and who have a credit balance after total charges are paid.
August 28, 2008
First day to receive short-term loan for fall 2008. Application due by 5 p.m., August 27, 2008.
September 19, 2008
University census - financial aid awards adjusted for enrollment.
October 1, 2008
CSU, Chico Scholarship application available online.
November 30, 2008
Last day to submit Stafford or PLUS loan application for Fall 08 (fall-only students).
December 15, 2008
Last day to submit online application for CSU, Chico Scholarship for 2009-2010.
December 18, 2008
Last day to receive short-term loan for fall 2008. Application due by 5 p.m., December 17, 2008.
